Personal Musical Messages

During these times of isolation and social distancing, I have been considering the idea of producing Personal Musical Messages in the form of short, videos. Your video can be performance of a favourite song or instrumental (provided it is one that I play!) and I rewrite some of the words according to your requirements. For example, I recently recorded, ‘There Will Never Ever Be Another You,’ and substituted ‘You’ with ‘Sue’ as it was a gift for my client’s beloved.

In the first instance, I would encourage you to think of a suitable song or instrumental that you know means something special to someone in your life. You might wish to send a friend or family member a song to cheer them up or to celebrate an Anniversary, birthday or as a reminder of a special occasion. There are plenty of possibilities and I am happy to discuss your requirements at any time.

Contact me at any time with your suggestions and we can get started on an unforgettable Musical Memory.

I will be adding a page of examples to my website soon.

About Dennis Frere-Smith

I am a Musical Variety and Novelty entertainer with extensive experience in performing many different genres as a musician, singer and entertainer across the decades. The Variety in my shows draws from my vast repertoire of songs and instrumentals and the Novelty element from my Act which was featured on Britain's Got Talent 2024. My focus is on making people happy and fulfilled through my performances and in providing my clientele with their requests in order to present unique and personalised entertainment for every occasion. I love singing a wide selection of songs to suit my audiences and these include 1920s favourites, jazz standards, swing, 50s 60s and a mix of pops. The instruments I use in various shows are trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, pBone, Ukuleles, pBuzz, teapot, hosepipe, funnel, shower head and watering can. Following a recent enquiry, I am also learning to play a car exhaust!
